Dear Imperion Speedworld Commanders,

thank you very much for participating on our international speedworld challenge. Sadly we did not manage to finalize the new Imperion version until now, but we'd like to invite you to the recently started closed beta. This will give you the chance to get a first impression of what is coming:

Important notice:

Please don't forget that this is a closed beta release - that means it's not a feature complete game and we will do feature and bugfix updates frequently. But we would appreciate if you join the broadly modified game - if you find any problems, bugs or inconsistencies, please report everything on the official beta forum.

Due to the fact that we have not yet implemented all the planned features (incl. the tutorial, user profiles, annexations, alliances, a more extensive help function and so on), please be aware that even some already-known Imperion functions will not be available right now. This is a development release with limited usability and some simple dummy views - work is still ongoing! Even Payment will be deactivated at the beginning, but every player will get an amount of free credits every week.

You will start in a small solar system, to which only you have access – this will be your safe haven. For your first colonization in the midgame galaxy we have already gifted a colony ship to every account (this will be part of the planed tutorial later on). Please note that there will be a reset when the open beta release is done, we will keep you informed about planed publishing date.

You can find helpful information like unit descriptions and help articles in the answers tool – it will be expanded continuously, but it’s always worth to take a look. For the communication we can only use the forum for now, but community management and QA will screen it several times a day and offer the best support we can. Nevertheless there is lots of work to do and the developers have to fix bugs as well as implement new features – so please be patient and don’t expect the same support level as we can offer on regular servers. Please note that there will be some downtime during the periodic server updates.
